Many daughters of narcissistic mothers suffer from chronic ill-health. To the extent that there is a mind-body connection, it wouldn’t be at all surprising if the stress of being raised by, and still dealing with, a narcissistic mother, affects our well-being. They are literally, as well as metaphorically, toxic.

This might explain why many daughters of narcissistic mothers report that if they go Low-Contact or No-Contact, many illnesses of various kinds just clear up or at least vastly improve – things like migraines, skin problems, stress stomach pains and so on.

Two illnesses which we daughters of narcissistic mothers seem especially prone to are Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatique Syndrome.
